North American Championship

The First Ever Gypsy and Drum Horse Qualifying Championship!
When: Oct. 16th, 2011 - Immediately following the Royal Jubilee Gypsy and Drum Horse Show (Oct. 14 & 15)

NEWS:  Eligibility:  Due to some of the early show cancellations, eligibility requirements have been modified.

Qualification, for 2011, requires that you show, and are judged, in the same class at any of the remaining qualifying show. This means, to qualify for a halter class, the entry must have shown in, and been judged, in the appropriate halter class at any one, or more, of the remaining qualifying shows.  Remaining shows include: Oregon State Fair, Oklahoma State Fair, Heartland Fall Classic & Royal Jubilee.

Shows currently approved as Qualifying Shows:

Old Dominion Gypsy and Drum Horse Jubilee - June 10 - 12 - Lexington, VA - Virginia Horse Center - Canceled due to the EHV-1 outbreak!
International Gypsy and Drum Horse Show - Aug. 6 & 7 -
Canceled - rescheduled for 2012
Oregon State Fair - Aug. 28 - Salem, OR
Oklahoma State Fair - Sept. 16 & 17 - Oklahoma City, OK
Heartland Fall Classic - Sept. 23 - 25 - Danville, IN - Hendricks County Fairgrounds
Royal  Jubilee - Oct. 14 & 15 - Cedar Rapids, IA - Iowa Equestrian Center

Registration requirements:

Eligible horses will be any Gypsy Cob / Vanner / Horse, which is registered with any of the following registries;

GCDHA - Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association - www.GCDHA.com
GVHS
GHA
GHRA

Drum Horses and Part-Breds must be registered with the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association - www.GCDHA.com
